The Sound of Walking

A homosexual son is unexpectedly visited by his blind father while in the company of his boyfriend, a fact his father is unaware of.

“The Sound of Walking” tells an LGBTQ story while also exploring the relationship between a father and son. I aimed to create a funny and dynamic beginning, but as the story unfolds, its nuanced and emotional aspects gradually reveal themselves.

I sought to explore how humans sometimes communicate in ways other than through words. In the film, the characters use sound, especially footsteps, to convey their emotions and connect with each other.”
